I grew up in a haunted house too! And I saw my first ghost when I was around 12. It was on my grandparents' farm. There was a church on the hill with a graveyard and I saw a female apparition walking along the fence by the road that ran along the graveyard. She looked like an actress from a film set in the 1800's, only she was transparent. She paid no attention to me, but I was fascinated! The sighting lasted about 10 sec. After that, I was hooked on the paranormal.
